Smiling is my Favorite
I have been pretty geeked out about all things Christmas this year. I like to cram lots of holiday cheer into this crazy month. The season officially kicked off when we watched “The Elf” with my family over Thanksgiving. [SANTA! OH MY GOD! SANTA'S COMING! I KNOW HIM! I KNOW HIM!]
First order of business: the Christmas tree. We always pick a short 5 – 6 ft tree to fit our apartment and it feels particularly small this year, but I love it! Toby does too.
We celebrated with the Chick-fil-A west coast office at the House of Blues in downtown Disney.
Then (and you may not make fun of us), we went to “Bring It on the Musical” in LA with Matt and Jessica. I’ve never been so entertained….I loved it!
After the show, we walked around The Grove shopping center which was completely decked out for Christmas.
On Sunday, we went to our church’s tree lighting with our small group. Hot chocolate, funnel cakes, kettle corn, Christmas carols, and gifts that give back. It was a really chilly night, so we got to feel a part of winter like the rest of the country and actually bust out the hats and scarfs!
In between all of the festivities, Sean has been traveling like crazy for work and just finished up his last final this week so there has also been a lot of this happening during any down time he can find:
Hope everyone is having a very merry start to the Christmas season! And remember…
